Lawrence Manassa, (Partner, pictured left), is a highly skilled litigator with 28 years of trial experience. He has proven himself in the Illinois law scene with hundreds of successful cases in trial. With that said, Lawrence understands that litigation is not always in his client’s best interest, as he also excels at mediation and collaborative law. Each divorce case is different depending on multiple variables and Lawrence has the training and experience to understand just that. Lawrence is a former Assistant State’s Attorney in Cook County and is on a very select list of Court approved Child Representatives in both Cook and McHenry County.
As a divorced (and remarried) father, Lawrence understands the impact of divorce first hand and strives every day to help prepare his divorcing clients for life after their divorce. Managing this with Christian values is something he holds in high regards. Lawrence is also very committed to his clients and his community. For over 7 years now he has volunteered his time at Illinois’ largest divorce care group and has donated his time to help the underprivileged at Administer Justice and Between Friends. Lawrence was also one of the founding attorneys for Willow Creek Community Church’s legal aid ministry.
